New Cityscapes

I have been working for some months on a new series of paintings based on elevated views of large cities, following visits to a number of suitable locations in New York, London, and other large cities in the last couple of years. I have made a great effort to work in a looser way, in order to achieve a more contemporary feel.
Here are a few of the resulting works.

Urban Scenes in Great Yarmouth

Here are are two examples, which will be on show in The Forum, Norwich, between 29th June and 2nd July. I will be sharing the space with 3 talented friends, also IEA members: artists Pauline Sexton, Kimberley Walker, and Nicholas Sutton. We are calling ourselves "Connected Four"
